Working with children is a very special and challenging task, so my goal as your photographer is more rooted in building trust and strengthening relationships than it is taking pretty photos (that’s a plus).
I’ve been doing this for over 10 years. I don’t just show up and press a button - I go above and beyond in my sessions. I’ve documented children growing up from the time they were in the womb. I know which meltdowns we can power through and which ones we’ll need a snack break for. I’ve returned home covered in sweat, sand, and birthday cake from all the twists & turns I’ve done playing tag with a toddler while simultaneously trying to get the perfect angle and light.
I know photography isn’t cheap, but I can promise you that every penny you invest in me will be absolutely worth it. I want to be the person you entrust with all of their milestones and favorite memories not just today, but for years to come.

These are photo shoots meant for holiday cards, milestones, just because, annual family portrait updates, etc. It’s a mixture of classic portraits (smiling at the camera) and fun, candid shots. I am here to help you coordinate outfits, plan out locations and scenes, as well as guide & direct your interactions with each other to create authentic connections.

DOCUMENTARY PHOTOSHOOTS
This is a purely photojournalistic approach to telling the story of what a day in the life of your family looks like. In order to capture some of those truly wonderful candid moments without my direction, it’s best for me to hang out with you and your family for a few hours. I can be there to capture breakfast, morning walks to the park, mid-afternoon meltdowns, nap time, craft activities, etc. Whatever you’d like. It’s a beautiful way to document all of those little moments that go unnoticed, yet cherished deeply.
This shoot isn’t about staging that perfect golden hour photo with flawless hair and smiles. This shoot is about capturing parenthood & childhood exactly as it is: beautifully chaotic.
I will sometimes include film photos in this collection (35mm, 120mm, or polaroids) as well as lots of black & whites (but you’ll always get the color version as well).
